Poland Tour
Please find following the story told directly from Marian Mika relative to the Poland Tour:
"Leaving for Cracow from Bergamo Airport at the beginning of March 2009, aircraft is 12 hours overdue, foul weather.
Next day, important encounter in Stefanski family’s house with the Polish Tv Journalists and other famous musicians from Cracow. Old students of Prof. Ludwig Stefanski, including myself, playing concert tracks dedicated to him.
Following, the presentation of the book "Playing nice", a collection of all our memories related to his role as musician and teacher.
Next day moving about 100 km. in the city of Novy Sacz, held a seven-hours Master class for students of the new Music School. In the evening, performed a recital playing with a beautiful "Steinway" piano, met with a large and warm public.
Next day, moving to the city of Nowy Targ (accompanied by a lot of snow!).
During the day, held Master classes and evening concert at the new Theatre playing with a beautiful "Bechstein" grand piano.
In the evening, returned back to Cracow and held a recital in the famous hall "Kazimierzu Na", playing to a full house.
Back to Italy again, a bit tired but full of emotions and wonderful memories"
